Solo vs Duo: choose the dancer and onlooker

Solo uses one photo for the dancer and includes a template-supplied blonde woman in a white dress as the onlooker. Duo uses two separate photos to customize those two roles. Both modes have one dancer and generate one video.

Choose Duo to personalize the reaction as well as the dance. Duo does not mean two dancers.

Solo vs Duo at a glance

The difference is whose appearance you supply. Both modes use the included Rumpelstiltskin dance template, with its barn setting, costumes and tiptoe sequence. You do not upload a reference dance or write a prompt for either mode.

Choose Solo when you only want to upload yourself

Solo is the direct choice when the joke is about the dancer. Upload one clear selfie or portrait, and that person becomes the character performing the dance. The blonde onlooker in a white dress comes with the template.

You do not need to find a second photo to fill the scene. The scene already includes a reacting character. Solo describes the number of personalized photo roles; it does not mean the dancer is alone on screen.

Choose Duo when the reaction should be someone you know

Duo lets you supply the appearance of both characters. For example, you can put yourself in the dancer role and a consenting friend in the onlooker role. The first photo is the dancer; the second is the surprised onlooker.

Use two separate photos with one clear person in each. Review the labeled slots before generating. Swapping the photos changes which person receives each role; it does not change the choreography into a two-person dance.

  1. Select Duo in the generator.
  2. Add the dancer’s photo to the first slot.
  3. Add the onlooker’s photo to the second slot.
  4. Check both previews and confirm permission to use both photos.

What stays the same in both modes

Both modes produce an approximately 15-second vertical 9:16 video in native 768P MP4 format. The dancer wears the green velvet tailcoat, white shirt and black bow tie. The onlooker wears a vintage white dress in the same straw-filled barn.

Either mode uses one video generation credit. Credit packs are one-time purchases of 1, 3 or 5 credits, without a subscription. See checkout for the total before payment.

Check the roles before you spend a credit

Choose the mode based on who should appear, then check the photos in their slots. If you only want one customized person, Solo is sufficient. If a specific second person is essential to the idea, prepare the separate onlooker photo and use Duo.

Neither mode guarantees exact facial resemblance or identical motion across results. Clear photos help provide a useful appearance reference, while the generated faces, expressions and scene details can vary.
